A letter of motivation for university, help appreciated

Hello everyone ! I wrote a letter of motivation and would like to hear your opinion about it.. What should I change ? What should I add ? All thoughts are very appreciated

Thank you in advance.. here's what I wrote ---->

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Bachelor’s programme in Computing at . These studies would help me achieve high results and make my future brighter.

To start with, computing would be interesting to study because of its almost unlimited possibilities. In nowadays life everything is run by the help of computers. This makes me want to be a part of society that can actually understand how these machines work.

From the early days computer was like a mystery box to me, where I could always find something new, something unique. Furthermore, I like to challenge myself and see how much I can achieve using this technology, so in my spare time I like to create web designs and try coding them, but this isn’t enough, I want to be able to do serious computer work.

During my studies in gymnasium I always pay much attention to such subjects as physics, mathematics, information technologies. Because of that, I developed excellent logical thinking and now I’m able to easily understand new material. I think this is very necessary when applying for this kind of programme.

Also, I think of myself as a sociable and self-confident person. I can easily do teamwork, express my ideas and listen to what others have to say. In addition, I think I am worthy of studying in , because I can understand the language really well. In gymnasium I’m taking lessons with the most motivated group in the entire school, which allows me to perfect my English speaking skills at a high rate.

I’m confident that I will meet all your requirements. Thank you very much for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response.

Yours faithfully,
