A Letter

Hello and Happy New Year!

Could you please correct my letter?

Dear Sir

Having heard of your magazine, I wish to submit my short stories to your magazine.

or I decided to submit my short stories to your magazine?

Please furnish me with all necessary information as regards the submission guidlines.

I would like to know what I as a writer am supposed to pay for?

(Isn't it a mistake to say would you please let me know if there are any fees I should pay for? Or I am supposed to pay for?

While hoping and waiting for a favorable reply, I am thanking you in advance for your help(should I use another word here?).

Thanks

Is sincerely necessary to use here?
