(a) laundry room

Hi, Is the "a" correct before the laundry room in this sentence?

"Beware of renting an apartment on the second floor of any building. You may end up with a laundry room under your floor."

I think "a" is better than "the", even though it's unlikely to have more than one laundry room in a building.

Not really, but I am not a native speaker, Clive. Do you?

No.
I asked because you seem to have a good understanding of this.

More natural than under your floor is just under you.
