A JOINT

Is it correct to say that we are facing the turning-point or is it a joint or a hinge or some other expression?
Thank you

We can reach a turning point in an ongoing process. That is a common expression, probably the commonest of its type. We can also arrive at a pivotal moment, somewhat bombastically. More figuratively, we can come to a crossroads or even a fork in the road.

Thank you very much. You are very useful. It is very rare to find nowdays.

I was still writing. "Juncture" carries little import. It is simply the word for a moment in time of some importance. It is more neutral than "turning point".

You have used "watershed" well enough, but "introduces us in a new dimension" is strange, and you should be careful—I smell a mixed metaphor lurking in there. Also, if you use "watershed", there is no need to go on to define it.
