Please explain which of the three choices below can be used.

I got to know your company through

1) a Japan Trade magazine.

2) the Japan Trade magazine.

If the title of the magazine is Japan Trade, you can use Japan Trade magazine or the magazine Japan Trade . If you are referring instead simply to a certain type of magazine, and I suspect you are, use a Japanese trade magazine . CJ

OK. In that case you can say a Japan Trade magazine. My preference would be simply an issue of Japan Trade.
