A Hungarian president

Hi,
Is this correct:
"This is not the way to talk to a US president".
Is 'a US president' okay? I know there is only one US president, but the implication here is 'any Hungarian president'.
Thank you,
Tomas

It's fine. "a" can mean "any", as you say.

Yes, it's okay.
This is not the way to talk to a US president - any US president.
This is not the way to talk to the US president - that US president (e.g., the one who was US president at the time of the narrative).
