Would you please to give me a hint, which expression, if any, will be suit for formal
stile message/article about a really big volume of information on the problem:

a huge amount of information;

a bulk of data;

a great volume of research/researches;

?

"A great volume of information" would be formal.

"A great volume of research" might be confusing, since "a volume" can also mean "a book."

"A huge amount of information" lies midway between formal and casual, in my opinion.
