A (hopefully) simple comma check

Hiya, I'm a bit stumped by the following sentence:

Are you saying as my roommate that I'm snoring too loud?

I'm not sure entirely sure if "as my roommate" should be separated by commas or not, or should the entire line be rewritten. (I realize the sentence itself is a bit weird but that's all part of the plan!)
