a hideous sentence. very challenging! come and have a go!

this is a clause of a contract written by lawyers in australia.

"

15.1 No consent, approval or authorisation of, or declaration, filing or registration with, any governmental or regulatory authority or any other person which has not been obtained is required for the Licensee's execution and/or delivery of this Agreement or its performance of the transactions contemplated hereby. "

this is my understanding:

the Licensee must have obtained everything required for his execution of the contract.

what do you think?

I am not sure about the interpretation of obtained in "legalese."

Also, I don't have the full text of the contract in front of me.

Yes; "even if the licensee hasn't obtained everything that is needed, he can execute the contract".
