A grammar question???

Gamze and Murat............up soon; they both seem very sad and I hardly ever see them together any more.

A) must have broken
B) have been breaking
C) should have broken
D) were able to break
E) ought to be breaking

In this question Is A or C the correct answer. Can 'Should have + past participle' be used for past deduction or here in this question is there a past deduction?

Thanks in advance

Hi Gencebay, The "soon" shows you that it's still in the future. A, C, and D are all in the past and and B continues into the present. Only E uses a tense that could apply to the future.
