A graduate

For the last 9 years, I have specialised exclusively in teaching IELTS. I am a graduate of the University of London and have taught in various countries around the world (China, Vietnam, South Korea, England, Spain and New Zealand). I have taught at IH and also at the British Council.

Does the meaning of "a" in "a graduate of..." one of many?
