Is it possible to say:

a. I had a good (last year / last month / yesterday).

b. I had a good (year last year / month last month / day yesterday).

I'd say both are possible, (b) being far more common than (a).

(a) is often heard in referring to a particular company's balance sheet: "XYZ Motor Company had an outstanding 2007."

Even, "Your mother and I has a great 1963."
