Hi Newguest To me, "a ***" would be a reference to the one and only Supreme Being, and "the ***" would be a reference to a specific one of several Supreme Beings. If the word "***" were not capitalized, my interpretation would be different. Others may have differing opinions.

To me, "a ***" would be a reference to the one and only Supreme Being, and "the ***" would be a reference to a specific one of several Supreme Beings.

I am atheist, and when I see "a ***" I think one of many. In this case, I wouldn't capitalize ***. To me, *** is a pronoun used in many myths, not a proper noun. The *** might be used as a title in similar sky fairy fables, like Zeus.
