A girl/women saying "beautiful" to the men??

Dear :
All friends

Hello guys....
i got a question for you.!

what are they mean, if girls saying to a guy " you are beautiful.."

does beautiful in this case is such a mock??

as i know, "beautiful" only used for a guy to the girl/woman.
but how about girl/women saying it to the guy???

i am so sorry, i am not native speaker..and of course do not know english that well. So, really appreciate for your help.

It,most often, is used as an adjective for modifying feminine nouns.However, it can be used for other things as well; it can't be used for males.

- That girl is beautiful.

- beautiful weather.

However, we'd say handsome man for addressing or praising a man's looks.

I'm not sure about other countries, but here in England it is not uncommon for a girl to say that a man is beautiful. In my experience it is more common to hear a girl comment that a man is 'beautiful' than it is to hear 'handsome'.
It is always a compliment and shouldn't be taken in any other way.

It's so intresting for me. If someone say that a guy is beautiful, it means that guy has charming face like girl's. He must be cute and has traits like a girl. That's what is in my mind about that. Take it easy Dude!

In the U.S., telling a guy he is beautiful does not nomally mean that he is good-looking. We would consider that somewhat strange and unflattering. To tell him that he is good-looking, you would tell him that he is handsome.
