A GHOST STORY..can you give a comment about this story?
THE CANTERVILLE GHOST
This book was written by Oscar Wilde,one of the most famous author who like to write a ghost story.This story began when Mr.Hiram B.Otis, the American ambassador bought an old haunted house called Canterville Chase.The old owner,Lord Canterville and his family did not want to live in the house anymore because they were frightened by the ghost.Mr.Otis and his wife,Mrs.Otis or her true name,Miss Lucretia R.Tappen,their childrens, Washington, Virginia and the twins were a brave family.They did not afraid of the ghost although he tried to scare them.The ghost always appeared to scare the family but he always failed.He could not believe what had just happened to him.Because of that,he was really upset and decided that he could never frighten this rude American family.One day, Virginia,the cute young girl met with the ghost.She felt sorry for him and then, they became a friend.Then, Virginia knew that his name was Sir Simon de Canterville.Suddenly, the ghost took her with him and they went to the Garden of Death.There,he gave Virginia a jewel as a present for her kindness.Finally, the ghost was buried by Mr.Otis and his family after they found his skeleton in the secret room.In the end,Virginia became a Duchess and she always visited the ghost's grave with her husband.I think the book was very interesting and funny. 'The Canterville Ghost' was the best ghost story book that i have ever read.How about you? Are you agree with me?
