A man and his son are in a car accident. They are taken to different hospitals for treatment. When the son is wheeled into surgery the surgeon takes one look at hin and says, "I can't operate on this boy, he's my son. How can that be?

I actually heard it in a movie. Can't resist throwing it out there now and again ever since I saw it! Unfortunately I can't tell you the movie just yet!

There you have it! Of course, logically the surgeon is his mother. Simple when you know the answer. It's men that have a hard time getting it. Riddle originally posed by psychologists to point out the differences in the male and female thought processes.
