Dear Users,
A friend of mine asked me yesterday what I thought of "Chernobyl", the docu-drama produced by HBO. This is what I wrote in a text message to him:
All I can say now is that it penetrates the very core of emotions and it shatters into pieces your peace of mind. Puns intended.
Then I thought that perhaps it would have been better to write:
It penetrates the emotional core of the viewer and shatters into pieces their peace of mind. Puns intended.
Which one do you think is better? Are there any grammatical errors there? I'm not sure if I used the verb to penetrate correctly.
Thank you
