A friend...

A friend has decided to drop out of university and backpack around Asia because his marks are poor and he does not feel inspired to study. You feel that this is not a good idea and that he should look to the future, so trying to dissuade him, you say:

A) It might be fun for a while, but it won't qualify you for a decent job.
B) My cousin did that and said it was the greatest experience of his life.
C) It was probably a mistake for you to enter university in the first place.
D) Why Asia? Wouldn't Europe be more interesting?
E) It sounds like a great idea: can I go with you?

I think it's B; but the key is D, what do you think?

Volcano1985C) It was probably a mistake for you to enter university in the first place.
That use of "enter" is typical of non-native speakers and strange. It would be more natural to replace it with go to.
