A fresh "batch" of fruit??

Hi..

In a conversation between a fruit vendor and a customer...

Customer: Are the fruits fresh?

Vendor: Yes ma'am. A fresh ________ of fruit just arrived this morning.

I need help in filling the blank? "Batch" doesn't sound right with fruits... Should it be "collection"?

Or something else?

Please help.

Thank you

Note that native speakers of English rarely use the plural word 'fruits'.
