Hi,

1.He would be a permanent fixture in their lives.
What does 'fixture in their lives' mean?

2.Jane's mother warned that no one in the picture had had enough time to process what was going on. Jane assured her mother it was not a rebound.
What does 'process' and 'rebound' mean here?
