A few questions....quite random ones actually....

1. 'I'll try never to forget that'.....is that grammatically acceptable? can you explain to

me why?

2. 'This life is preparation for the next' shouldn't the 'preparation' have 'a'

or 'the' in the beginning?

3. 'if the industry has a way of disposing of them, then it would be justified'

in this question...........can I say 'a way of disposing of them'? it seems quite strange.

2. 'Preparation' can be an uncountable process, so no article is necessary here.

3. 'A way of disposing of them' seems fine to me-- what bothers you about it, JK?

About number 3, I'm not sure about why it's bothering me. Maybe it's because there

'Of' is certainly the commonest preposition (I am currently working with a student material on prepositions: the short newspaper article has 30 prepositions, 15 of which are 'of'). As a result, multiple 'of's are not unusual.

'He is a member of a major committee of the Legislature of the State of California.'

If they become bothersome, some rearrangement should be attempted:
