What are the differences between
a.) I got up early this morning.
and
b.) I got up earlier this morning.
What are the differences between
a.) make them quiet
and
b.) make them be quiet
How to describe "having low self-esteem" with an adjective word? How to describe "feeling helpless and discouraged with a difficult situation" with an adjective word?

Perhaps you could say what you mean by this. In my experience, the problem of "having low self-esteem" seems to be wildly over-applied these days. I quite often see it give as a diagnosis e.g. for badly behaved kids, in cases where it seems to me the problem is a too high self-esteem.

Perhaps you could say what you mean by this. In my experience, the problem of "having low self-esteem" seems to be wildly over-applied these days. I quite often see it give as a diagnosis e.g. for badly behaved kids, in cases where it seems to me the problem is a too high self-esteem.
