Hello Everyone
I have a couple of questions regarding grammar that I would like to clarify, and I would like some please confirm if these are correct. If they are not, please advise why. Thank you
1) They will need to know the IP addresses of the user's machine and the destination of the IP address. (should machine be singular or plural)? Also, if there a better way of writing this sentence? If yes, please provide an example.
2) Followed up with John Smith, but I've had no response. Will try again tomorrow. (Did I use "I've had" in the correct way or should I have just used "had") I understand that we use I've had/has had to talk about the past experience. However, I am still not confident between had and has had and have had.
3) Please advise if these are correct
Can you also please explain what is the correct way using these tenses?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
