A few doubts

Hello, I have a few doubts concerning the following issues:
  1. Did you brush up on all the pieces of information about your obligatory books for your examination?
I think 'the' is necessary here because we are precising what information we are taking about...am I right?

2. Greek food is the best of all over the world. (I think we always say : 'all over the world', do we?)

3. According to the last surveys, people are fed up with learning and they wait/are waiting for a landmark in a technology. (I think present continuous is better as we are describing present times, no article before technology because it is uncountable)

4. I hope that this incredible invention will encourage you to watch "The Mystery of IT"

5. the magnificence of a human's/ humans'/ a human brain.

6. Various nuclear waste cannot be recycled and what is more they are it is necessary to produce new processors (we treat 'waste' as an uncountable word, so we cannot say 'they are')

7. scientists have to be very careful during creating new machines - i think it doesn't sound nice...
