Can I say,

(a) He looked around and found the boy crying sadly.

(b) She took the boy together to buy things first.

(c) She heard a crying sound. In the crowd, he could not find his parents.

(d) He was lost with his parents.

(e) Jenny squatted down and asked the boy why he was crying.

(f) He felt pity of / for him.
