Can I say,
(a) Peter invited his guests into the living room.
(b) His family served some drinks and different variety of food.
(c) The guests chatted while his wife served the drinks.
(d) Mdm Lee was a good wife and (good) cook.
(e) They wished each other a happy New Year.
(f) They wished Peter and other family a happy New Year.
