A few corrections 2

Can I say,

(a) The boy asked for help from John. / He asked John for help / for a help.

(b) He was offensive to the king.

(c) The lion came out (of the cage) for a fight.
(d) From that day on, he became very kind to his mother.
(e) The king freed the lion away.
