A few corrections

Can I say,

(1) They were late because of the traffic jam.

(2) They are many hawkers / hawker stalls on the beach,

(3) She threw the dry leaves in a bin.

(4) He accidentally broke a mirror.

(5) They went on / for a picnic.

(6) The house is on fire.

(7) The maid pours a cup of tea for the visitors.

(8) They are constructing a road.

(9) A colony of ants came from / came out of the crate.

Peter saw a colony of ants coming out of / from the crate.

(10) Their costume is / are well decorated .

(11) The turtle is crawling back into / to the sea.
