A Few

Can three of something be considered "a few"? "A few" doesn't have a specific number that it begins at, at least I don't think, right?

Thanks.

More than one, but countable number of things.

A few good men.

One is one and two is a couple, so a few must be at least three (but not too many, or you move into "tens" or "dozens" territory).
