A feather in XXX's cap

Hi there,

I wonder if the following examples sound ok to native speakers.

(1) "... another feather in our national cap"

(2) "....to be a feather in our collective cap"

(3) " a new feather in our theater's ( company's, soccer team's, party's, etc.) cap"

The construct (3) is of special interest to me...
