A famous fruit in my country!

Here is a famouse fruit in my country and now it's its season come, it's full market every where. People can not stop emotion to eat it but for somebody who don't like he will never touch it. Have you ever tried this fruit? And what is the famouse fruit in your country?

The tree is hight about 3-5 metres. Gardeners bring it down savely without technology.

Hi Atitaya, I like durian so much. But I can't eat it now because it gives me blood pressure going up. I'm afraid to eat it. In our country, the mango is famous. It's very delicious. Do you like it??? People would like to eat mangos from small fruit (not ripe). There are so many kinds of mangos, different taste.

are you from southeast asian? vietnam or thailand? in our country, there are also durians growing in certain areas, but not in big amount. some sold in the market are imported from vietnam or thailand , i guess. we call durian "king of the fruits". the reason is that it is rich in nutrition. but also it is rich in fat and heat. some people say eating durians puts more weight on you than meat. i a

I lived in Malaysia for 4 years, and the durian was a very unpleasant experience for me.

You either love it or hate it.

I personally cannot stand the taste, the texture, the smell, or the unpleasant after effects.

In Singapore if you take durian on the public transport you can be fined.

Also many taxi drivers won't allow it in their cab as well.

I don't care for it, it's definitely an acquired taste.

I much prefer Jakfruit......yummm......
