Cobb wants to do a new job for that he needs a new architecture (Adriane). But first he should explain everything to her to be able to design dreams. For this they need to take her in a dream. but in dream she don't know that they are dreaming, she thinks every thing is real first. What does "a face full of glass hurts like hell" mean?
