Is it common to say:

-A dollar and a quarter.

I’ve heard sellers say, “Dollar, twenty-five.” “A dollar and a quarter.”
Or, more simply, “One twenty-five.”

This used to be more often said in the 1950s and 1960s in the US. Today you don't hear it much except from older folks. Young salespeople would typically not use it today. You'd hear instead: "one twenty-five", or even, "one dollar and twenty-five cents."
