A delicate message

Hello, dear forum!

I would love to have your help in the following issue:

I'm hesitant to communicate with an American volunteer (in regard to a particular issue) because of a delicate, personal situation that he is living abroad.

The idea is to say that this person's feedback is absolutely welcome but making it clear that sharing it is not his obligation, at all.

So, I wrote a short message to email him:

Dear Mr. A.,

I have just been told that you decided to take the tests.

I would just like to let you know that, in case you would like to share with us how it went with your tests, please feel free to drop us a line at any time.

Sincerely,
M.

Is it correct?

Would you suggest a better way to express the ideas I tried to?

Thank you!
