A definite or indefinite article here?

Hi. Proverbs 15:2 and 4 of the New International Version of the Bible state:

(2) The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge,
but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.

(4) The soothing tongue is a tree of life,
but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.

Can we use the phrase "A tongue of a wise person" or "Tongues of the wise" instead of "The tongue of the wise" in Proverb 15:2?

Can we use the phrase "A soothing tongue" instead of "The soothing tongue" in Proverb 15:4?

Thank you in advance for your help.
