A daredevil jump off this ledge will end your life.

Hello, I am currently reading a book called <The Divergent>. I have a question about a sentence in the 65 page (the ‘jump off’ part)

“A daredevil jump off this ledge will end your life.”

If needed, the next lines are

“It has happened before and it will happen again. You’ve been warned.”

In my understanding, the sentence should be

“A daredevil WHO JUMPS OFF this ledge will end your life” or “A daredevil JUMPING OFF this ledge will end your life.”….

Considering , Jump-jumped-jumped(present-past tense-past participle)

Why can there be two verbs?

Please take your time and help me.

If it’s okay….I also have a question about this part.

“He leads us to the right side of the Pit, which is conspicuously dark. I squint and see that the floor I stand on now ends at an iron barrier. As we approach the railing, I hear a roar-water, fast-moving water…” on page 64.

When I search the Chasm on google, the railing is made out of iron.

When it says “iron barrier” does it mean the railing itself? Like the starting edge of the railing she felt as a barrier because it was so dark? Or does it mean it had a metal fence before the railing….??

I am new to this forum… I am not even sure If i can ask these things….

If I wasn’t supposed to ask questions about the meaning of a word in context here, please let me know and please also do tell me where I can….because reading English books is helping me alot with my English, I’d like to continue but there are parts I don’t understand….it will be very helpful.

If you can answer me, I appreciate so much. I have no where else to ask.

Thank you and have a good day:)
