A couple sentences

Is this okay: Hey man, I’m stuck at a business meeting which is taking longer than it should, will be at least 8 by the time I make it back with traffic, would you mind if we reschedule for tomorrow or the day after?

Assuming this is to be said in an informal way to a friend, most of it is fine. ' at the start of the second part of the sentence. I'd consider having a full stop before this as well.

  • The final comma would seem more appropriate being a semi-colon.
  • If this is being written down, numbers up to twenty should be written as full words, not just as numbers.

The only change I feel is critical is 'It will...' or 'It'll...' at the start of the second part of the sentence. I'd consider having a full stop before this as well.

The final comma would seem more appropriate being a semi-colon.
