a couple of questions about a sentence, please

Hi teachers,

Here's a sentence which I've taken from a movie:

- Hunt said something right before he died. He said you are not real, and he kept repeating it over and over again.

My questions are:

1) In writing, should I write the part "He said you are not real" like this He said "You are not real".? Or is it OK to write it as it's written in the original sentence?

2) The part "He kept repeating it over and over again" has the phrase "over and over again". Does it mean the same as "again and again" or something else, please?

Thank you all.

  • Either way is OK.
  • As it's originally written, 'that' is elided.
