A confusing question

Question

Topic: "All nations should help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems."

Could I include problems like "bringing peace to Middle East, countering terrorism (political problems)" and "price scissor and unfair trading among developed countries and developing countries (economic problems)" into the social problems?

I would suggest the following.

1. To determine global peace keeping solutions (not just peace for the Middle East).

2. Ways to counter terrorism worldwide.

3. To help understand and deal with socio - economic problems.

Well, there are so many organisations that already exist!
