"a confirm" or "a confirmation"

Hi teachers,

>I saw "a confirm" in context, "Do you have a confirm on flight details?" Does "confirm" mean "confirmation"?

>Would it be natural English to put "Confirmation on hotel reservations" in subject header?

Thank you.

Re the plural "confirmations," I suppose it depends on what you mean by a "subject header."

If this is a collection of transactions over a period of time (several separate confirmations), then use the plural.

If it's a memo regarding the confirmation of a group of reservations (for several rooms, perhaps by a single corporate customer), then use the singular.

Hi Avangi,

I'm so grateful for your further explanation. Otherwise I would miss the plural - singular usage.

> Should I use plural "reservations"?

> Should I use preposition "of" or "on"?

Thank you.
