A compound noun??

The Undertaker and his new ally Paul Bearer must play the part of heroes to save planet earth from the destructive path of Soulvex, the black arts behemoth under the control of The Embalmer.

I'd like to know what relation "black arts" and "behemoth" is in.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I'd guess it's a behemoth that practices the black arts. If that makes sense to you, then you're probably reading too much fantasy fiction. You're OK if you can answer these two questions: 1.

deadrat Oh, dear, someone dislikes this! It occurs to me that the someone might think the question has racial overtones. It doesn't.
What makes you say that?

There're no racial connotations whatsoever in either you response or the OP's question.

Someone hit the dislike button, and my disclaimer was in response to that. I should have made it clear that I was talking about the question I asked (What makes the black arts black?) The OP is, of course, blameless. Sorry for the confusion.
