What are you comparing and contrasting? Unless you are comparing yourself with somebody else (or something along those lines), third person is fine. Just my 2 cents.

What are you comparing and contrasting?

Unless you are comparing yourself with somebody else (or something along those lines), third person is fine.

It's up to you. Do you want this to personal? Do you want to say what you see from your perspective? If so, use the first person.
