Which is correct? Results from google book "suggest" that all four may be acceptable

(a) This beer event is for the celebration of summer.
(b) This beer event is for the celebration of the summer.

(c) This beer event is for celebration of the summer.

(d) This beer event is for celebration of summer.

Here I am trying to use the sentence in the context of a "general" summer, not any particular summer.

Hello Seraphin,

You DO need a "the" before celebration, but you don't need one before summer.

However, a more natural way to say this is "This beer festival is to celebrate summer" not "for the celebratin of."

I wonder if your using of "a more natural way to say" means "to say" or "to use" or both.

So if I am "writing" that sentence instead of saying it, would it STILL be more natural to use "to celebrate", but

not "for the celebration of". Thanks
