Should there be a comma before a math variable:

A. How to measure the quality of a quad mesh, Q, generated from a given triangle mesh, M?

B. How to measure the quality of a quad mesh Q, generated from a given triangle mesh M?

I'm surprised. I've seen only B. A looks ugly to me. I wouldn't use Aunless I was threatened with the loss of a diploma (or offered a million dollars).
