A cleft sentence analysis

Hello,

I'd like to ask whether a cleft sentence is grammatically correct or not.

"It is global warming that the polar bears are starving because of."

The sentence is a bit awkward is it ends with a preposition. If it sounds weird, is this sentence a better alternative?

"It is global warming that makes the polar bears starve."

Thanks,

tomeng The sentence is a bit awkward Ha, ha! It is too awkward to live. " No.

  • tomeng The sentence is a bit awkward Ha, ha!
  • It is too awkward to live.
  • " No.
  • If it must be cleft, then something like this is effective: It is global warming that is starving the polar bears.
