A clear day and a clear night

Hi,

Are "a clear day" and “a clear night" natural English?
When you use these two phrases, do you refer to the sky?

Thanks

It mostly means "cloudless", but it can't be foggy or misty, either.

Thanks.

So they are natural English.

When you say it is a clear night, you mean the sky is cloudless and you can see lots of stars.
Is that right?
