Hello everybody.
I'm reading 'Little Women' by Louisa May Alcott chapter 26.
She caught endless colds sitting on damp grass to book 'a delicious bit', composed of a stone, a stump, one mushroom, and a broken mullein stalk, or 'a heavenly mass of clouds', that looked like a choice display of featherbeds.
I know choice means carefully selected, but I can't figure out the meaning as a whole. Amey drew clouds in a way that the outcome looked like a choice display of featherbeds?
Thanks ??
