A children's Day celebration
Please help me to check if I'm incorrect.
Last Tuesday was Peter's school Children's Day. / ... was a Children's Day of Peter's school. It was annually held / held annually in his school in the early morning. His parents were invited to the celebration.
On that day, there were a lot of performances started at 8.00 a.m. Pupils from his school showed their talents and performed very well on the stage. The audience were joyful and clapped (their hands) after watching the marvelous show.
An hour later, Peter attended / had his class party (for the Children Day). There were a lot of food on the table. Each of the pupils exchanged and received their gifts. They enjoyed eating and drinking at the party. It was really full of fun in the party.
