A car, a TV and a fridge

It is suggested that everyone wants to have a car, a television and a fridge. Do disadvantages of this development for society outweigh advantages?

We are now living in an age when several basic gadgets, particularly a car, a TV ad a fridge are necessarily needed. From my point of view, I would think that the upside of having such basics are more worthwhile despite the downsides.

To start with, I am convinced that using things like that is causing serious environmental issues. Many of my neighbors, for instance, usually drive to work which obviously emits toxic fumes into the atmosphere. Accordingly, the neighborhood and the vicinity are full of carbon dioxide and similar harmful smoke produced by the cars. Otherwise, I also believe that both TV and fridge consuming electricity make a considerable contribution to the exhausting natural resources, and these problems below can lead to global warming as well as the damaged environment if things are overused.

Irksome as they are, however, I still hold the view that owning a car, a fridge and a TV is advantageous to people to some extent. Firstly, everyone is able to have a satisfying life because such essentials enable them reach any place faster, preserve food and be relaxed after a stressful day buried in work and study. Secondly, it seems to me that this development also helps create a perfect society and happy family. Since every individual has the chance to experience the convenience with TVs, cars and fridges, they are likely to work more effectively and feel elated which makes them contribute more to their country and company. Finally, I recognize that should people keep demanding for a car, a fridge and a television, they will definitely enrich the sales of the products for factories which causes the economy to be on the increase.

To sum up, although a car, a TV and a fridge may include negative consequences, the benefits of having them are still more significant as for me.

Thank you!!!!!1
