A BUCK

Dear Teachers,

1. Maybe the change of pace and scenery will open his eyes to a whole new world, and he will turn his life around.

- What does "he will turn his life around" mean here?

2. If I had a buck for every teenager who felt this way, I'd retire now.

- "buck" here means "dollar", right?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.
